We need a new DVD player...can you tell us what to get?

I don't think want anything fancy. Maybe the option to play blu ray as well? Shall I just get the cheapest thing on an amazon search? Any help gratefully received!

You might as well get Blu-Ray and full HD (1080p). This Samsung offers everything you'd expect in a basic player for a basic price.

It only lists HDMI output. If you have a reasonably modern telly, that should be just fine, but check first, if you don't know whether you have an HDMI telly.
