How do I connect to Internet on IPad when abroad. ?

Yes this is probably basic but ?I need to understand how to do this so I can email my Dad whilst on holiday ..... Idiot proof instructions welcome

You'll need a wifi signal - most hotels have wifi although they may charge. It would be the same as anywhere in the uk.

If you have 3G version you don't need wifi but its likely to cost a fair bit.
