Nexus 7 info and what's the best price?

DH would like a nexus 7 and I've said no since Xmas, so thought itd be a nice surprise for his birthday ;)

I've been waiting for google to announce their new stuff and think it was this week, is that right? If so it seems there's no new nexus 7 imminent, so no point waiting another couple of weeks to buy, do you think? (I'm assuming new version = price drop on old one...)

And the best price I can find is £189 from pcworld, anyone know anywhere better?

Hi. You can buy the nexus directly from Google on the play store (play.google.com) but that price sounds about right.

There will probably be a new device announced in time for Christmas but the current 7 is fine, and being a nexus it will get any new software updates straight away, probably for the next couple of years so you should be okay with it.
