"Latest" gone missing...

Why is this column only showing Subject and Replies? Please, tell me what to do to see whole page!

Are you using a laptop, a desktop, a tablet, a mobile phone ?

What make or operating system is it ? (eg running Windows, or OSX or Android)

Are you using the standard browser, or some specific one (eg MS Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari...)

Laptop, Windows Vista and Chrome - am amazed I actually know this stuff, so please keep any info at same technical level - what can I do please? The Preview and Post words below are also only showing top half!

Just wanted to say, I seem to have fixed the problem with "Settings", which is now at 100%. I'd altered this in attempt to print smaller, (still learning).

I've found similar on MNet from mobile... text invisible

but that may be some other problem (concerning MNet and web site scripts etc).

Oh... looking again, are you meaning it never showed the username and date/time when it wasn't working?

Yes, exactly that, not too small but too far away to be part of the central column therefore "Latest" section was missing.
Altered setting to 100%, which seemed a bit big, and it's now showing everything it should at 75%.
Apologies I don't really know names yet.

So were you looking at a particular topic (like Geeky Stuff) or "Threads I'm On" or somethhing else ?

It's always worse on Mumsnet - as if there's not enough space horizontally so right-hand-side of column simply goes missing, then the "Preview" and "Post" words below don't have sufficient space to be full height; this occurs on lots of other pages and means I've difficulty reading, but as mentioned earlier, I've improved things by enlarging print and it's ok now.

I think the assumption is that people are using modern kit with wide screen displays (whether desktop or laptop) hence the 'wide' pages!

If you are missing some of the text, then you could change your screen resolution settings, perhaps. But something for a rainy day, perhaps, not tonight :)
