"axview"- please tell me

What is "axview" please, and why should I give it my name and password? In the three years I've had the laptop, have never seen this before, but it won't go away. Please help.

Axview seems to be a Chinese company dealing in security cameras. I'd download and run either Spybot or MBAM to detect and remove them. Both are free, but Spybot occasionally gives a false positive. Having said that it's bloody good at getting rid of nasties.

Thanks so much for information - I was guessing it was nothing official, but wanted to know.
