Lost Windows log-on password - help please!

Just that really - my Grandma does not remember her Windows password, there is no Guest access set up - how can I help her? Many thanks in advance...

Thankyou both! I did find that website, but the only computer with a cd drive is the locked one... dear grandma has thrown away the details of the computer savvy chap she last used, and who probably set the password...

worth adding a different 'admin' user too, and perhaps using 'LogMeIn.com' (to allow you remote access via the internet (it should be possible if there's broadband and the PC is simply switched on).

What you need is a program like PCUnlocker. The program enables you to create a bootable PCUnlocker CD or USB drive, which could be used to boot up your locked PC and reset forgotten Windows password in just a few steps: www.top-password.com/knowledge/reset-windows-7-password-with-usb.html

Xp you just go I. Through the bios to remove a password. Can I hell remember how to do it though.
