Alternative to google - anyone know of another search engine that pays tax?

Have been avoiding Starbucks and Amazon since I found out they don't pay UK taxes, but it is harder to avoid Google. Can anyone suggest a good alternative search engine (that does pay corporation tax somewhere?)

The reason Google is so successful is that the alternatives aren't that great.

The main alternative is www.bing.com (Microsoft), I'm not sure about where they pay their corporation tax. I am sure that they are less nice than Google.

I like www.duckduckgo.com . For most searches they are pretty good, but they can't always find the same stuff that google does.
