Making a Lego brick shaped image (Powerpoint or something else)?

DS1 is having a Lego-themed birthday party next month and I wanted to copy an idea for invites I've seen online.
But, the lady who did them cut each one around the top edge to imitate the 'bumps' of Lego.

I want to save myself the curvy & irregular cutting & print out a finished shape image.

I have Powerpoint/Office on my Laptop (Apple) but I can't seem to figure out how to do it.

There will be a point that I've spent as much time trying to shape the document pre-printing as it would've taken to cut them out - have I already reached it?!

Does anyone know how to create this shape?

Not sure exactly what you are after, but I've done it in Word in the following way and Powerpoint should work the same way.

1. Click on "Insert shape". Choose the rounded rectangle. On mine it's between the oval and triangle.
2. Draw 2 little rectangles and a big one.
3. Place the 2 little ones, so they are half hidden by the big one.
4. Right click on the big one and select "Move to Front". (Not sure if this is the same on an Apple.
5. You can then "Add text" to the big box.
6. Select the 3 boxes together, right click and "Group".
7. Copy and paste as required.

Can't you just get a picture of a Lego brick off Google?

Sorry I haven't been back sooner, laptop is playing up & every time I open Word it crashes

I could try that shape thing but how do I fill it with green block background?

I have looked for a 2-D image of a brick but haven't found one.

You could download something like this: fotobg.ru/upload/img1349457483.jpg.
Save it, then right click on your shape, select format, then fill and then choose it as a picture fill.
