how do i set my hotmail account as my default account for internet

for example...

I browse a page and see an email link... and i want to send them an email, so i click on it.

but then the computer takes me to outlook ( which isnt set up) instead of my hotmail account.

How do i tell the computer that i want it to go to hotmail?

What type of computer are you using?

Assuming Windows, you can go to start - default programmes and then select your email client. However, because hotmail is web based mail it won't be listed unless you have already set it up with outlook or Windows Live Mail
