DD needs a recording thingie......I am so out of my depth

DD needs a "bring a recording device for the week, either in the form of a Dictaphone or the recording equipment available on many mobile phones"

So what's that then, how much will it set me back & what's the cheapest I can buy?

I thought her iPod would be fine - but it isn't.....& her phone doesn't (apparently)

What kind of iPod does she have?

Argos do a Sony dictation machine for 35 pounds, it has 526 hours of recording time and will plug into the PC for editing

I've not used it personally but at £11 it seems like a small gamble and afterwards you can use it also as a normal USB stick.

That won't replay & she needs something to replay

I guess I have to buy her a new phone

You can get plenty of useable devices for under thirty quid
