Nexus or iPad mini?

Already have kindle (first gen) and iPhone and want something for a bit of browsing, fuller content ereader and games to keep a 6 year old busy.

What would be your choice?

Purely for functionality and cost I'd go with the nexus.

Dd got a nexus for Xmas. It is fab.
