Anyone else had this? My original ipod (many moons ago) started doing the same thing - deleting random songs or albums or artists even though they were still on my computer itunes. Then it started refusing to play various songs on the ipod even though it could see they were there.
Now my newish (Ok, about 3 or 4 years old but not used to destruction) is doing the same - it's just 'lost' some artists and songs from the itunes. I'm a bit 
as the itunes with all my songs on is on my old broken laptop, I haven't actually updated the ipod or synced it for over a year.
Is this the beginning of the end for my ipod? Have other people had this problem? Is there a way to fix is?
I'm wondering if my ipods just are very picky with their taste or I just have very bad music taste and they delete the ones they don't like
