Budget not an issue (more or less, though am not forking out for an ipad any time soon) Will be mainly for dd, though family will use it as and when.
I have a Sony Vaio which came with so much software on it I'll never know what half of it is, so new laptop doesn't have to be tooled up particularly with stuff.
I have been stalking CruelAndUnusualParenting and was wondering if s/he or anyone else could just, well, find me one without me having to read specs and stuff which make my brain bleed 
(would prob buy from John Lewis as I trust them always and implicitly )
