My Kindle is suddenly claiming it doesn't recognise my WiFi network and is saying my password is invalid - help?

Any ideas?

I've not changed the password on the WiFi network, and the network's still functioning fine (I'm using it right now!) but the Kindle has just stopped recognising it. When I tried to rejoin the network manually it said the password was invalid. Confusing - and annoying! I've just finished a great book and need to download the next one in the series!

Switch off your kindle completely and turn off your wifi, count to ten and when they are switched back on it should recognise it again.

Very IT crowd advice I know but should work Xmas Smile

Wahey! Thanks JJJ. Why didn't I think of that? It's what I spend half my working life doing :o

Glad it worked, its one of the few things I don't like about my kindle.

Mine did that last week. Very odd.

If rebooting your Kindle hadn't worked, rebooting your wireless hub might.

DSIS was very puzzled to discover her Wifi had forgot her ipad, but not her phone, ipod or lap top.

She reboot the ipad several times before resorting to turning the WiFi off.
seems it just managed to forget one addressXmas Confused

My Kindle 6 suddenly started refusing to scroll over my stored books
properly.
It then, after rebooting ,restarting the router /wifi still comes up with Incorrect password.
Amazon sends me back to my wifi provider and vice versa.
Think this is punishment for downloading some horny book to enjoy
behind the cover of the kindle!!! Aaaarh just before the next chapter too.
Any ideas...about the password connection problemmost welcome.
Thanks
