Buying Ipad

I've decided to buy a 32GB white Ipad with retina display. I'm not sure whether to get it from the Apple store or not. I'm concerned about after sales care. Would Apple Store be best in terms of this? How is it like compared to say, Tesco and Woolworths, who also sell them?

I would buy from an Apple Store if you have one close by or from John Lewis.

IPads don't usually go wrong though. We have 5 in our household, all very well used and after several years nothing has ever gone wrong with any of them.

Apple after sales care is pretty much the standard most companies should aspire to.

In fact it doesn't really matter where you get it from. If something goes wrong with it, you are still able to take it into an Apple store and they will help.

I bought my DS a refurbished ipod from the Internet, the battery was duff so took it into the Apple store. They didn't bat an eyelid. Plugged it in, tested it and then gave us a new one.

Try getting that sort of service from PCWorld!

Thanks for the replies Smile There is an Apple shop near me. I was thinking of buying from Apple Store online for the 10 months interest free finance actually. Would I be able to get that from the physical shop? Also would you recommend buying in a physical Apple store rather than ordering from Apple online?

It really makes no difference to the price. So in which case whichever is easiest for you.

Personally I'd probably go to the shop for that instant retail hit rather than have to wait for the courier to bring it which inevitably will either be when you've popped out for one minute or right at the end of the day after you've patiently waited around for hours.
