The light is not coming on. Are these things that need replacing regularly? I've had it about two years. Have checked connections etc but I can't see what can go wrong with it. It seems a pretty basic item. Anyone know?

Do you mean a wireless adapter you plug into the usb on your pc to make it wireless? If so,have you tried it in another usb port,it might have to install again,dd has to change her usb mouse regularly as her ports work when they feel like it.

We have only had ours a few weeks but the man did suggest keeping a spare incase they stopped working - he didn't think that they would last more than a few years. He did say we would be putting it to the test though, as we have fibre optic.

Are both not working or just one?

Yes to wireless. It plugs in near the BT box and sends signals to the plugs in the computers that are too far to get the signal from the box.

Sounds as if it's just died. Darn it. Along with the hoover and the microwave. Just before Christmas too.

Thank you for your replies.
