Coming to end of iphone4 contract... How do I pay as you go ??

What providers can I switch to who give me a free sim, where I keep my number and pretty much get inclusive calls and data (as I do now on 3) but for nowhere near £30 a month which I currently pay.

Would love to also gain clubcard points if I can pay via my tesco credit card instead of my bank???

Any provider will do this but in the end we stayed with orange (paying £50 per month!!!!) and just switched to pay as you go - £9 now! Gif gaf comes well recommended as well.

Giffgaff £10 a month will give you 250 minutes,unlimited texts and unlimited internet,but you do need an unlocked phone or one using the o2 network.

If you are happy with 3 coverage and service just tell them to put you on one of their one month rolling contracts instead for like a tenner instead of what you pay now.

That sounds good nice guy also v easy.
If I want to unlock phone, where is a good plae to do this?

I'm on Three's SIM 600 (15/month, 600 minutes, 3000 texts, all you can eat) - mine is a 12 month contract.

Horror story from someone else here on MN today who has used over 400 MB in first 48 hours of their contract out of 500 MB for the month.

Giff Gaff (piggybacking on O2 network) offers unlimited data but worth reading reviews as some say the data downloading is sluggish.

iphone's are best unlocked by the provider. Tell 3 to unlock it. Not sure if they make a charge or not. They shouldn't do and they should agree to do it once you are out of contract. It usually takes a few days to process it since they need to fill in a form then send it to Apple who then unlock it via iTunes.

Don't take it to someone. They will be unofficial jailbreak versions if it can be done at all. These will be wiped out as soon as you update your phone so not worth paying for.
