Action Replay card for DSi

DS1 bought one of these cheats cards for his DSi last week. I've been trying to install the software from the website (no disc). I'm following all the instructions but it keeps coming up with Code 52 no signature, so it won't finish the installation.

I've been trying this for ages and, to be completely honest, I am really really fed up with it. I've Googled and I've checked YouTube. Nothing's working.

The only solution I haven't tried is to restart my laptop and press F8 and then disable driver security or something. I'm not sure I really want to do this.

I've told DS1 it'll have to go back to the shop and get his money back. (An added difficulty is that he was with his Gran and she bought it by card with DS1 giving her the money).

Cue massive strop from DS1 because apparently I'm doing it all wrong and looking in the wrong places.

Please please please does anyone know how to get this bastard thing working?

dh says he just used it in the dsi without downloading any software as the info was already on the card. He got it from argos

Thanks vodka. He's using it now like that and has just manually entered some codes for his Pokemon game. There must be something extra to get by using the software but if he can use it like this and he's happy, then that'll be okay.

They are a pile of SHIT.

My son has bought about 4 of the damn things in total. They work for a bit and then pack in. That's if you can get them to work in the first place.

I thought that bunch of cunts had gone bust years ago, is it still made by Datel? the fuckers who refused to do anything at all and then cut off all contact when I complained about the special extra large PS1 memory card I bought with my £39.99 birthday money that turned out to be no bigger then a standard memory card worth less then a tenner.

Didn't hear a damn thing from the letter I sent Trading Standards over it either, I used to meet the guy who invented the Action Replay for them at trade shows, he hated them too as they ripped him off, he ended up going to Blaze and making the Exploder and Explorer cards to try and piss off Datel and put them out of business.

They might be long gone that was back in the PS1 days, only Blaze things I see now are those Plug and Play retro consoles so they may have shifted their focus.

I'm shocked fucking Action Replay are still around.

Went to Game today to return it. Forgot the USB cable and also realised that MIL bought it on her card. They've confirmed we can have a refund though if MIL goes in with her card.

Shitty product.
