3 mobile phone not receiving incoming txts

Dh's phoneis payg with plenty of credit. He can txt and get outgoing and incoming calls but no incoming texts. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be or how to solve it? We arent techy at all and have no clue what to do!

I can't resist this....have you tried turning it off and on again?

You may well grin! Said to dh "have you turned your phone off recently?" . The answer came back "I dont know how!". At that point I took over switched off and on and voila texts have been flooding in. Thanks squirted! DH red faced

I'm glad it worked. It's a sarcastic answer in the IT world, and not often that you get to use it. It's something you think but don't get to say.
The next lot of questions I had in my head weren't as straightforward!

Have to admit, it wasn't a question I would normally have asked, even though it is exactly what I have done if my own phone(s) act up !
