Can no longer access e-mail on my notepad??

Hi, i'm not good with tech things so i need a little help, i have a Acer notepad, when i bought it last year i set up e-mail (well dh did) and all was working ok, could send and receive e-mails, now i go to click onthe e-mail icon (envelope thingy down the bottom), it looks as though its loading (curser turns to loading sign) and then nothing happens. When i try and write an e-mail by clicking on a e-mail address link nothing happens (nothing loads and no e-mail box comes up). Whats going on?

Is it connecting via Wi-Fi ?

Have you any indicator showing it has connected OK or might that be the problem ?

It is connected via wi-fi (i think) , internet is all working fine just not e-mail .

Which is your e-mail service ?

(eg Google Mail aka GMail, Hotmail / Live.co.uk, Yahoo, etc )

Hmmm... cannot think of any good reasons.

I know sometimes browsers can be a bit fussy - for example, have seen errors reported by Firefox (and failure to let me see a web site) before, so have you tried more than one browser ?
