Wifi signal very poor in my bedroom, which wifi extender for virgin media wireless router.

Hi there. Wifi reception is pretty poor in my bedroom, but my Apple iPhone and iPad seem to cope, as does my laptop.

However I have just bought a Google Nexus 7 and it doesn't connect at all and says my router is out of range.

Is there a work-around or do I need to buy a wifi extender? I've done e a quick google for extenders and it seems some don't work with certain makes.

Can anyone help please? I need to play with my new toy in bed :)

Have you got a Superhub? That sorted out poor signal issues upstairs for me.

AAH, what's a superhub? I have a bog standard Virgin media router.
