Buying an Ipad for my birthday! Help with cases, insurance etc please!

What cases are best? I like the look of the smartcase but is there a better alternative?

Is it worth buying the Applecare?

Will 32gb be enough? My ipod is 80gb so used to space.... Realistically though 32 is fairly big?

32 is more than enough as you sign up for iCloud and can use that. We have an iPad 2 and the new one, we got our cases off eBay which included a screen cover, stylus pen and case for £9 delivered. Get a case that covers the screen front as it keeps the screen cover in place.
Get the iPad tips & tricks app, shows you a few things .
Love ours, even use them mounted for journeys, out bookson it with kindle app , don't put lots of music on it, a few playlists.

Didn't buy AppleCare.

I love my case with a keyboard in - is just th cheapest on amazon but really useful.

I was looking at a case like this heavy duty one as I have a three year old, a resident 12 year old and a Dh to contend with! Only thing is it won't go to sleep? Is this an issue?

And I was looking at protect your bubble insurance, anyone had any dealings with them?

mine goes to sleep when i close the lid, thinks its the magnetic strip that triggers it(don't quote me tho).
Would def recommend you put a pass code on it then, everyone uses mine but dds are 11 & 14 so dropping not an issue but DOWNLOADING lots of shite apps is... change setting so you have to put in password for every download free or other wise, pain in arse but if I see another talking cat I may do something nasty.

Thanks for your help, I am waiting in for my 64gb white Ipad to be delivered today I am so excited! I am waiting to order the tutti frutti ipad case from I like their ethos, their reviews and their patterns!

Went for the extra memory as had the ££s unexpectedly and going to have apps for three peoples tastes so lots of talking cats

I hope it is easy to change to a password, I will be back to ask if I can't figure it out :)
