Listening to YouTube - help!

Why is it that sometimes when I'm listening to music on YouTube the sound keeps juddering and stalling? It makes listening impossible.

Does anyone know why this is a problem some of the time and not others?

Are you listening on Wifi or 3G?
If wifi what speed do you get?

It is most likely that you are seeing issues when the network is at it's busiest, either generally or perhaps in your home?

I can't stream music/tv when also downloading in the evenings, I can do it fine in the day when the network here is in less demand.

Finally it could just be that the particular track on youtube is in high demand - try listening to something ;)

Hi and thanks for your response. I'm listening on WiFi.

I'm the only person in the house so it's not as though I'm sharing the bandwidth with anyone who's downloading films etc.

Arrgh you will make my ears bleed if I have to listen to him!

Unfortunately it sounds like it might be just that it is a popular song then. Would be worth checking your wifi privacy to see that noone else could be using it. Would also be worth seeing what speed you are getting, try broadband speed check. Finally if you can try it on a wired connection to the router rather than wire free as the
is can also be an issue (either in your router or your pc wifi adapter)
