We have a family wedding on Sunday and the bride is absolutely refusing to have the football on, I now have a devastated son (and husband) who are already planning their illnesses!! So can you watch live football on an I Pad?and if so how (thanks in advance I am a complete techno phobe!)

Seriously? That would be about as rude as they could get.

If I were you I'd tell them to get a grip. Record the match on Sky/Tivo and man up.

If the match is more important to them than celebrating the marriage of a family member then simply don't go to the wedding.

The bride should arrange for a large screen to show the match if possible. In lots of venues you have a couple of function rooms, it wouldn't hurt to show it in one of the rooms. I would hate to think people were not enjoying my wedding because they wanted to be doing something else

And yes, you can watch it on an iPad. I lent dh my iPhone so he could watch the first England game as he wasn't near a TV.

You need to download the BBC iplayer catch up TV app.
