My '3' key has a pound sign above it, but suddenly it's coming out as #.

What have I done? I'm sure I haven't messed with stuff I don't understand Confused

Bugger, have just run through the symbols and my 2 should have speech marks above it, it now has @!

WHAT have I done?

Found my speech marks... they are on the key with the @ sign, so the @ and the " have switched places!

Help!

looks like you have changed it to a US keyboard! Can't remember how to change it back though sorry

oopslateagain · 30/05/2012 22:35

US? Why?

Thanks though, at least that makes some kind of sense (and means I haven't actually broken anything)

Think I found it...
££££

Yes!

I won't do that again. If I ever figure out what it was that I actually did...

You switched the languages setting to US English. You can alter it back and forth through the control panel.

The hash symbol is American for pound.

Got all excited then but it didn't work for me. Just been in control panel and changed it but still getting # :(
