Keyboard split in two on iPad.

Does anyone have a solution to the above. When I want to type the keyboard is half the size with the keyboard split in two. QWERT at one side and a huge gap and then YUIOP at the other.

Ds did this the other day, slide them together on the screen, should join them together again.

I think you have to strike across the screen from left to right maybe

I think you just pull it together with your fingers.

Hold down the button you press to get rid of the keyboard and a bubble should pop up saying 'dock and merge' - click that! :)

Excellent to learn another way of doing it too! :o

I had this the other day and it took me far too long to work out how to get it back to a single keyboard - go into Settings and then General and in Keyboard turn off the split keyboard option. Hope that makes sense!
