Flash player help

Im trying to watch a video on Facebook on a laptop. It says I need to upgrade flash player. So I googled it and installed the latest one.
But when I click on the video it still says I need the flash player.
I have restarted the laptop and it's still not working ....
Any ideas ?

If you have the latest Flash upgrade from Adobe and this video won't play then do not install the upgrade on Facebook. It will download some sort of malware to your hard drive.

And on facebook I've clicked where it says 'get flash player' but nothing happens.
I'm wondering if laptop is blocking it somehow
