What case do you have for your iPad?

I have a nice new iPad :) Got it this case which is nice but I find a bit bulky and seems to make it harder to type as the edge gets in the way of my fingers. Also have a pound land silicon case which is better for that but doesnt protect it (took it away with me before other case came and wrapped it in a tea towel and put it in its bag from the Apple shop Grin)

So does anyone have a case that allows easy typing but does protect it? Am loath to buy an apple cover but is it what I need? They dont look like they would be suitable for protecting a travelling iPad either really. Did see these and was wondering if they would be good for transporting.

I have one of these www.amazon.co.uk/Invision®-IPAD-SMART-COVER-LEATHER/dp/B005ERZ9PA/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top and it works brilliantly.

Thank you :) That does look like it might meet my criteria :) I see it says it is for iPad2 - mine is an iPad 3 - do you think there are any noticeable differences between the two versions that would make it fit badly?

I got an unbranded version of this www.zagg.com/accessories/logitech-ipad-2-keyboard-case, going for between £25-£32

It's a Bluetooth keyboard that is also a case

I have this which fits my iPad3 perfectly (and activates the sleep/wake thingy), came the next day and also the free stylus is fab.

I think I'm happy without a "proper" keyboard although some of my typos might indicate otherwise Grin

I have a hard back cover and a compatible smart cover and mine has been dropped etc and been fine. I have an iPad 2 and a 3 and the covers are fine for both some ate a bit snug but ok.

People keep replying as I reply Grin. Do like the look of that case SoupDragon - how thick is it around the bottom part ie does it restrict typing at all?

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 11/04/2012 21:26

It doesn't restrict typing only my incompetence does that as it's probably only 1.5mm thick.

QED · 11/04/2012 21:31

That sounds good (the thickness rather than any of your incompetence :))

Soupdragon's one looks great! I have this one, for an iPad2, and love it. Would've got SDs one if it had been out then!

That's a great site soupdragon I have the Piel Frama in Fuschia for my ipad 1, but DH bought me a " I'm going to HK without you for a week present" of the new iPad. I need a cover to fit my new one, and I don't think he'll go for the pink one on the iPad her has inherited!
