Putting photos from your pc/laptop onto the interweb thing...how do you do it exactly?

Over the sounds of my I.T. knuckles dragging along the floor, can I guess that you have to 'upload' them onto a website such as flickr or frogbucket, and then link to them from there?

If so, (now at the very boundary of my geekdom), how do you actually do it? Is there a fee due for this service, for example? Any advice appreciated. As will patience!

Right. I ahve signed up for flickr via my Yahoo i.d. and uploaded some photos. about 10. Next step is 1. find them again and 2. learn how to link them back into the spaces I want to place them.

Do you mean this one? it's St Catherine's Castle, just off St Helier, in Jersey. I really ought to add a few captions...

Yes, but on reflection the French monastery appears on the Britanny coastline, quite a few miles from Jersey. I just got mixed up.

But still a fine photo, RB and so skillfully isolated!

Actually, no, it's not, it's Elizabeth Castle, in St Aubin's Bay. That's why I need captions....
