It's for a property and letting agency. I've googled and prices vary from £95 - to am eye watering £30,000. Im clueless where to start inquiring.

My niece (I'm not touting for business :) Its just to give you a ball park figure) charges about £500 for similar projects. She is a professional web developer. You can get a gifted hobby-ist to do it for much less. If you want a professional setup complete with account manager, artistic director, media planner :) then it will cost you thousands for a simple website.

Or you can do it yourself. Hosting companies offer templates. You basically click on your business type ie solicitor, plumber etc and from this you select from a range of appropriate templates. You insert the text and pictures you want and click buttons to publish.

This option is cheap. The downside is that only basic functions are supported ie no embedded videos, shopping carts and the like.

Look up www.1and1.co.uk

They are a major hosting company. They offer various packages, one of which should suit your needs. This is of course assuming that you want to go it alone.

For a property and letting agency - ie a professional standard website - I would be amazed if it could be done within a three figure sum. Remember that the look and feel of the website will be very important for attracting customers - and it must work well. I have seen some truly terrible examples that put me right off the agents concerned.
