I have suddenly lost all of my ITunes content on IPad

When I open the App, the screen just goes dark blue. I had loads of stuff on there..music and downloaded TV programmes, which were my lifeline for living in Asia! Can anyone tell me what to do, or who to contact? Thanks.

Have you checked for updates? Are you using the most recent version of iTunes?
