Could anyone tech and mac savvy please explain to me why my apple pro mouse is doing nothing but clicking

It will do left click but nothing else, wont scroll or anything
I bought it second hand, no book, no software

cant find drivers, I'm useless at mac stuff Sad

pretty please, my trackpad wont right click anymore so I bought the mouse to sort that

but then I find out you have to hold ctrl and click which is annoying grrr

Its in system prefs. somewhere. then mouse and turn on right click. not 100% sure which option it is as I am on my iPad at the moment.

I've been there tried that, there is only tracking speed and double click speed in there to change Sad

does it make a difference that I've got it plugged into a macbook?

seems to me that it isn't designed for it (why would it be I guess) as the usbs are all on the left so the wire goes round the fron or back, shortens movement

coudl this be why its not working or is it just cause its really old?

It wont scroll and I've no idea what it shoudl do with the squeeze cause it does nothing
