MacBook Pro - how do I transfer a logo?

Ok, I am the most technically challenged person on Mumsnet so please speak to me in very very basic language.

This is because I am extremely old and used to relying on secretaries.

I have a small business on the side for which I use a Dell PC, particularly for Word docs (am a Will Writer) and all I do pretty much is write wills on word, attach them to emails and eventually print them off.

DH bought me a MacBook Pro which I rarely use.

This is my problem:

Now the Institute of Willwriters which I've just joined has sent me a logo which I have to put on all my letterheadings etc. I can open it as an attachment to their email on the mac but not the Dell PC which is running on an older version of Windows. I have just spent ££££ on letterheading prior to joining the IPW and want to be able to put my letterheading in my printer and copy the logo onto it rather than waste all that money.

How do I transfer the logo, as attached to their email, onto my letterheading, or is that not possible?

The website is ok, my website guy put the logo on the home page for me in 2 minutes flat today.

Yours hopefully,

Mumblechum.

btw I know I can link my mac to the printer, just not how to transfer the logo onto some sort of blank doc which I can then run through the printer using my current letterheading.

Not sure what programmes you have so a very lowtech way is to double click on logo in mail to select it then press Apple+C to copy it.
Put cursor on roughly appropriate place on blank Word doc (or whatever word processing app you have on the mac).
Press Apple +v to paste it. Print onto letterheaded paper. Play around with positioning as required.
Bit Heath Robinson but you should get there!

Whereabouts on an A4 sheet do you need it? If you emailled it to me, could I add it to a Pages document, export this in Word format and email it back? Do you have Pages on your macbook?

Thanks for your replies; I did it!!

I worked out how to do open office (never used it before), blank page, then transferred the logo from the email to docs, dragged it from docs to the blank page, plugged mac into printer with old letter head in it and the name of my Uncle is Bob!

So basically what Peeling suggested but in a sort of roundabout way.

I may dust off the mac and use it more regularly now I'm getting the hang of it.

Thanks both

Mumbles

LOL - it could all have gone horribly wrong since I am still getting to grips with my Mac Air after eons of Windows use.
