Have set up Sky HD and have lost TV in our bedroom (magic eye problem?)

Hi all,

We have just got Sky HD and did the self install last night (in the lounge) but when I turned the TV on in our bedroom we no longer have a picture. Do we need to 'tell' the HD box that we have a magic eye? I think it was an engineer that installed the last box we had and he sorted it out for us. So we don't have multiroom, we just use a magic eye upstairs.

Also, this morning it was all working fine but when I put the TV on to watch intelligent stuff at lunchtime loose women there is nothing on the TV guide, I can change the channel and they are all there, it is just the planner which says it is searching for programmes. Anyone had this before?

Thanks a lot
x

Is a magic eye one of those infra red things that send the signal from downstairs up?

If it is you need to make sure the transmitter is connected downstairs properly.

Have you switched it off and switched it back on too??

Thank you glaik, sorry for the delay in replying.
Yes we switched it off, gave it a kick etc and got it sorted. Think it was one of the wires which wasn't in properly.
