Struggling to get my new tv to work with are hard disc/freeview box

We have finally got a flat screen tv with built in freeview.

I can't work out how to make it work with the digital recorder thingie. I could do with a diagram or something, but google hasn't been very helpful. Please help!

Or have I made an expensive mistake? Are they not compatable?

Try this, On the back of the freeview hard disk box there should be RF in and RF out connectors. Connect your aerial lead to the RF in and connect the RF out to the aerial connector on your television, you should have a lead to do this, then connect the scart socket on the hard disk to the scart input on the TV (usually labelled AV1)- . You should then be able to watch your hard disk by using your tv remote and selecting av1 or EXT1 depends on your tv and watch it.

It get's so flipping complicated-pvr,dvd,xbox and wii 'tis a nightmare!
