Can I share music from my iTunes with DD's iTune account on my MacBook?

I've been trying to share music but it's just not happening . I have turned on home sharing. Her account is also set to share but we can't see each others music.

Please help me someone.....anyone!

For sharing to work you both have to be logged in and running iTunes, so not ideal... Macs are normally set up to be very secure, which means that different users are kept very seperate from each other, so sharing things is a little bit tricky.

The easiest way is to actually get a USB memory stick, drag the songs out of person A's iTunes and onto the stick, switch to log in as person B and the drag the songs into that person's iTunes.

If you don't have a stick there are plenty of other options which range from transferring via a shared area of the hard drive up to truely sharing an iTunes library. But the memory stick is easiest and will make a lot of other issues fade away into the background.
