Anyone able to tell me of any good sites? People keep talking as if everyone knew, and I don't, sniff.

you can stream from lovefilm

LivingDead · 03/12/2011 19:38

I generally just google "watch film online" obviously replacing the film with the title, generally comes up trumps, I know it's illegal but I'm generally watching older and more obscure things rather than new releases Blush.

Apart from lovefilm, sky have a movie streaming site if you already have sky, or itunes if you have any kind of iproduct.

I use blinkbox and Film4oD. Film4oD tends to be a little more expensive but you "rent" the films for two days whereas blinkbox is usually a one day rental.

I use the same sites as Snorbs. Also use BBC iPlayer (they have some films to watch from time to time) plus YouTube. Prices vary between sites for the paid films, so I tend to watch via whichever site is cheapest for that particular film. The sites don't all have the same movies, so sometimes a movie may only be on one site.

Movies stream so you need quite a good broadband connection. Test by watching a Free film. Example Youtube: Free Films

Film4oD has an option whereby you can download the film in advance and the 48hr rental clock only starts when you start watching it. This can be useful if you have a slow broadband connection.
