I have put my name forward to mark for OCR Exam Board and it is on-screen marking.
My IT skills are rather basic and I need to be able to send stuff using PDF
Anyway, I ended up joining AdobeReader (free) so that I could send my application form in as a PDF file attached to an email.
Problem is Adobe only give so much free and then they are asking me to subscribe. Does anyone on MN do this sort of thing?

Are you on a Windows machine or a Mac?

On a Mac you can immediately print anything as a PDF, instructions for this are here: osxdaily.com/2010/05/21/how-to-print-to-pdf-in-mac-os/

If you are on Windows then confirm the version (XP? Vista? 7?) and a solution can be found for it.

I am on Windows Vista. Thanks.

This is meant to be pretty easy to use:
www.dopdf.com/

It creates a "printer" that when you select it and "print" to it really makes a PDF file for you.

Badgers Thanks for that. I Will certainly try it out.
