Laptop needed but I need HELP!!!! I am totally rubbish with technology. Please help...

I would gratefully receive any help here.
Basically I need a laptop as I've just gone freelance with work and need my own computer so I can go out and about and also work from home when my DH is on the main PC (he works from home).
I need one that is no more than £350 ideally.
I don't really know about these things but we don't need masses of memory or super duper capabilities. We need it for internet, word processing etc office documents.
My DH does use google sketch up for work and it would be nice to think he could do that on our PC and transfer it to the laptop - will this affect what we need? I don't know.
Any recommendations please.

PC World are doing an Acer Core i3 laptop with 4GB RAM and a 500GB hard disk for £350 and Tesco have a couple of Toshibas for £370. These should be sufficient for most purposes.

MS Office will cost extra or you could use LibreOffice, which is free.
