Tablet or netbook? Which is better?

It would be used for surfing internet, playing games (flash essential) and homework.

The budget is £200 and I can't go a penny over.

My original thought was this netbook but then I saw this tablet

Hmm, thoughts anyone?

If it's for homework as well then the netbook.

My general rule is that tablets are good for content consumption where as you need a keyboard and mouse to content generation.

So reading stuff online is great with a tablet.

But typing lots of stuff in (e.g. an essay) is a pain.

So it depends on what sort of usage you'll be doing, is homework reading or writing?

Yes, homework as well. Mainly for bits of research though.

She has use of my netbook (with windows etc) to write up docs.

That tablet doesn't support flash.

Ah, missed that, thanks Viva.

Back to the drawing board then ...

Also, Flash games are rubbish in a tablet. Firstly they dont run great, secondly as my 4yr old found out, most flash games like those on miniclip assume you have a keyboard/mouse. So when you have a tablet, there's no way to control the game.

So another one suggesting a netbook is better for your needs.

An ipad2 doesn't support flash - that shouldn't put you off.

Ok, I know I said not a penny over £200, but any thoughts on this one?
