removing apps from HTC phone

Does anyone know I remove apps I no longer want/need/downloaded when drunk etc? I've tried hitting menu etc but cannot figure it out.

menu>settings>applications>manage applications,this will give you a list of all installed apps,select one for deletion,it will then give an uninstall button.
