tablet or laptop?!

okay,im not a techy person at all and im a bit bamboozeld...
my laptop is dying so,
do i get a tablet,probably blackberry or a laptop?

i need it for Ebay,MN,emails,photo's some videos/music i guess.
would be nice to be able to take it with me some places ie can fit in my bag...

i have a main PC,and an external hard drive to store stuff on....

so,is there anything else i should think of? ATM,im leaning toward a blackberry playbook...

If you want to put it in your bag, then tablet.
That's why I bought mine.
I have the Samsung Galaxy and love it.

My main issue with tablets it that it's really hard to type on them.

Hee hee - just saw that one thread is "tablet or laptop" and the other is "laptop or tablet" :o

It's harder to type on than a laptop, but then it will fit in your bag.
I have frequent hospital admissions and a tablet is so much more practical for that.

hmm crap typing does put me off...i do post a lot on here...hmmm but it would fit in my bag,so more practical for that,and its all swooshy

Why a Blackberry Playbook? I'd say if that's your budget either get the ipad 2 or if you want something smaller, get the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

The ipad 2 is outselling every manufacturer combined. The reason is that it's platform is mature. Blackberry playbook hasnt exactly had a great start.

isnt that because of the app's though niceguy?
i dont know why i want a blackberry over the others TBH,id prefer it's size,but apart from that,i will be able to 'synch' it with my new blackberry curve,i think...

(i have broken my phone and my laptop within two weeks of each other,so obviously,im going to need insurance damn tea!)
