microSD card confusion

I want to increase the memory in my HTC desire. I know I need a microSD card, but looking online, most of them seem to be micro SDHC. Are these the same, or different?

hubby says they are the same the HC bi just stands for high capacity

I checked on the Sandisk site, and it said that sdhc was compatible with my Desire, so I've bought an 8gb one from play.com for about £13. Glad I checked on-line and didn't just buy an expensive one from a shop!
Hope it works ok - will let you know!

I meant 16gb! And it's quite a big jump up from the 2gb one I've got atm, so it'll be fine (til I can afford 32 :-)
