Please help.

Synched to itunes but forgot I had a load of House episodes on there. Now according to itunes on my desktop my ipad has 29gb of video, so hardly any free space. But when I click on films or Tv Shows to find it and delete it they're empty.

I've gone into Videos on my ipad and thats empty as well

What do I do?

On the iPad, go to Settings>General>About.

It will show you how many photos are on the iPad, how many videos etc.
I tunes may not show the correct number if you didn't complete the sync that it was expecting to do.

Easy way to get the videos off iPad is to

  1. reconnect to the ipad and run iTunes.
  2. Stop the sync (x at the top middle display)
  3. Click the video tab on your iPads bit of iTunes.
  4. Untick the sync videos bit.
  5. Make sure the other bits you want to keep on there are ticked (photos, music etc)
  6. Resync

This may not work, if all the stuff on your iPad is not already on the computer.

iTunes may be reporting your iPad's contents wrongly - mine did this a while ago, but when I resynced it corrected itself

Have a look in Settings- about and it will tell you how much free space you really have, and also how many videos/songs/photos

Yes, unticking the sync videos and resynching worked. Thanks.
