itunes help... please!

Have playlist on iphone.

Wanting to copy this back to itunes on the laptop so that I can then transfer it onto ipod.

Is there a simple way to do this?

(have deleted everything off itunes and ipod)

Where did the music on the iPhone come from? Is it just a playlist you created from music that was originally held in iTunes and then synced onto your phone?

What have you deleted from iTunes?

The syncing from iTunes to an iPod/iPhone is meant to be one way (there are ways around this though) and if you've deleted the stuff off of your iTunes then it won't flow back from your iPhone. In fact if you connected your iPhone I'd expect it to delete the music from your iPhone to make it look like your iTunes library (that is if the phone is set to automatically manage its music, which most people do and is the default).
