what happens if the number calls you again? Do they get a recorded message?

Don't think so.
If a number calls me often and gives the number, I save the number and assign it a slient ringtone. Then I don't usually notice they are calling and they always get the answerphone. They never seem to leave a message.

I tried putting my DH on the reject list but it came through. I can't see how to take numbers off the reject list so I am not trying it with anyone I want to call me. If they ring I will see what happens then. I always have the option to press the red button to cut them off.

Does a text come through if it is from the rejected number?

No idea. Expect different phones operate differently. Mine doesn't have a reject list. Just a call log.
