Is this possible or do you still need an outside aerial to get a good picture?

"Internet TV" will work without an aerial.

But you should look into what you mean by "Internet TV".

For example you can buy TVs that are called "Internet TVs" and that means that they can shows things like the BBC iPlayer or Channel 4's On Demand service. However there's two things to note here, firstly make sure that your broadband is up to this. Can you watch iPlayer quite happily on a laptop for example? Also can you watch it a high resolution on a laptop? The second thing is that many channels don't broadcast all of their output via the Internet. So you can't just watch BBC1 or ITV, for example, through "Internet TV". You have to use their online services and watch what they have available. That is why many of the Internet TVs you will see also include a Freeview Receiver to show "normal" TV programs, and for that you will need an aerial.
