Deleting an iPhone app... Stuck.

I downloaded an update for an application and it's been 'loading' for 48 hours now. I can't open or delete the app. Any ideas?

Mmm, you could try downloading the update through iTunes on your computer and then syncing your iPhone to it.

Have you tried turning the phone off then on again?

Niceguy- I tried that, and gave it another go on your advice. Both times it made no difference. From previous experience with apple, I tried it a third time and it worked.
