unlocked iphone from ebay?

Should I buy one? Is it worth it to get an iphone 3gs 16gb for around £250 - and will I then be able to use my Virgin sim card in it? The sim card has 1gb free monthly usage, is this suitable? I'll only be surfing a bit, checking emails, etc. I think!

I'm not very good with geeky stuff, can someone help me??? please... Grin

If its a factory/official unlocked one then you should be ok. You may have to twiddle with the phone settings to ensure the Virgin server details are entered so you may want to check with Virgin Mobile first.

If you are not technical then avoid jailbreak unlocked phones. If in doubt, ask the seller.

As usual with all these things. Caveat Emptor
