How do I tag people in FB posts?

I'm not going to ask on Facebook, as people will laugh at me.

I want to know this too.

Go to the photo you want to tag and click on the person you want to tag in the picture. A little box should pop up on the picture. Start writing in the box and it should recognise the name of the person you are typing. Click on that persons name and then click on "Finished tagging" near the bottom of the page on the left.

I hope it works. I just figured it out tonight.

if you want to tag someones name in a status box you add @ in front of it
e.g Loved being on MN with @Tigerbomb

No, I know how to tag people in photo's, just not in status updates.

Tigerbomb is right: @nancydrew in the status box will do it.

don't put a space between the @ and the name.
When you type @ and then the initial of your friends name you should get a choice from your friends list of who to pick

didn't put a space, just put test @sisters name and it did nothing. If I type @ it just looks like an @
